Contemporary and contemplative creator, Jean-Luc Lacroix shows his talents in many fields such as painting, sculpture and drawing. Listed as an “emerging artist” in Akoun and ArtPrice books, he is featured in auctions at Hotel Drouot called “Créations Contemporaines”, Tessier & Sarrou study.
This artist studied fine arts in Paris. He now lives near the French capital. He worked on themes inspired by music and cogs for art dealers, and explores 3D with steel and wood. Renowned art fairs such as Lille Art Fair and Sm’Art have exhibited his sculptures, represented by Galerie Maison Dauphine in Aix-en-Provence (France).
Some of the Artist’s commissions include creating furniture for The Grand Hotel in Le Touquet, France; a ceiling light for private customer, his “Sniff MK2” for a Londoner collector, and numerous mail-art for Parisian galleries and cities in Australia, USA, Europe and Russia.
Through his daily practice, he has developed a keen sense of colors and materials with a special tend for abstraction –“a thrilling path towards simplicity” he said.
Jean-Luc Lacroix is a member of the Taylor Foundation.
"As a lapidary, Jean-Luc Lacroix has carved many facets to his art. It scrutinizes the contaminated material, recognizes his brilliance and sublimes it. Adept of Recovery-Art, he is also very fond with the raw materials such as wood and metal for composing design furniture that will feel with charm a unique room." Véronique Kadry, Maison Dauphine Gallery at Aix-en-Provence (France).
