Keith Gibbons studied three-dimensional design at High Wycombe College of Art and Design (now a part of Buckinghamshire New University), and went on to study furniture design at the Royal College of Art.
While at High Wycombe he produced paintings and sculpture as well as furniture and exhibited in the Young Contemporaries at the Tate, Northern Young Contemporaries, Whitechapel Gallery, John Moores Exhibition,
Ikon Gallery Birmingham and Manchester City Art Gallery.
Although making furniture for many years painting has become more important recently. The latest large paintings are about human relationships in unusual surroundings.
