I started my art activities on the free academy in the Hague, in the Netherlands
I did courses in craft print making, like etching, litho and linoleum print.
I also did courses in ceramics and sculpture.

I organised several exhibitions in the Hague.
I was able to work as an artist full time until 1987, then I had to stop my art work because of my financial situation, until I was able to work partime as an artist.
It was until 2009 I discovered fractal making with a fractal generator.
It took several years fo find the right combination of formulas to work, the way to save the fractals as layered fractals and to fine tune them with the figures in the formulas. To give the fractals colors with the diverse methods available. It still amazes me when changing and combining the formulas you can create very strong geometric shapes as for example cubes.
I created a database with a database program to store the formulas to know from what basic fractal I started. I can also store a picture of the fractal in the database. This helps me to look back. The fractal generator can also render the image so that it is possible to have it printed with 8192 x 6144 pixels.
I wish I could contribute to the program, so that it would be possible to render
other types of fractals.
Until now I only explored one type of fractals.
