Most of the time I feel like I have no control over my artwork and I like it that way. I begin with an intent to make something for myself. But inevitably, the work changes as I make adjustments in the moment. When I am done, the painting usually tells me something about the original subject I had in mind, in a way that surprises me.

I have lived most of my life in Seattle, WA, where I attended Cornish College of the Arts and earned my BFA with an emphasis in Painting and Printmaking. My work is currently being collected in the United States. I have been painting for over 30 years, and making fine art prints for over 20 years.
