Ekaterina Samarina was born on December 27, 1989, in Murmansk, Russia. From 2007 to 2013, she moved to Veliky Novgorod and studied at Yaroslav the Wise University as a graphic designer. Her teachers were Babikov Vladimir, Shimanin Anatoly, Davidenko Andrey, Sergey Chebotar. Since 2013, she has been living and working in Saint-Petersburg, Russia. Kate's paintings took part in exhibitions in Veliky Novgorod, Murmansk, and Saint-Petersburg. She is also a regular participant in plein airs held in Russia. In 2019, a personal exhibition of paintings was opened in Saint-Petersburg, Russia. Her works are kept in private collections in Murmansk, Penza, Saint-Petersburg, and Veliky Novgorod.
