At the age of five, I began taking photographs and developing them in the basement darkroom my father had set up. Photography has been a passion of mine ever since. I love taking pictures that evoke a mood, that capture the atmosphere of a moment. I've found that monochromatic photos, despite - or perhaps because of - the lack of color, convey the essence of a scene better than color photographs. They often evoke an aura of nostalgia and familiarity, of sincerity and emotion. They give warmth and depth of feeling to their surroundings, making a room instantly feel comfortable - more like home. I hope you will enjoy these prints as much as I do.
