3D Townscapes
www.ArtPal.com/kadamson40Keith Adamson is a retired architectural technician from the UK, now living in Spain, where he has discovered the fascination of the many hilltop villages and picturesque towns that lend themselves to representation in three dimensions and reproduction by the 3D print process. The initial production process is painstaking: each of the buildings is drawn in 3D by hand using computer-aided drafting software, and the streetscapes are added to reflect the actual gradients. The end result is akin to the bas-reliefs produced in marble by ancient sculptors and applied to the facades of classical buildings.
