Pointillism Art by Judywww.ArtPal.com/judyart12
I was given an assignment in the seventh grade years ago to make a dot picture. My teacher knew of my talent and challenged me to draw a detailed photo of a puppy and kitty. I accepted and did such a good job it inspired me to continue developing my own style of pointillism. Through the years I learned to draw better and even though I don't do this for a living, I just can't stop. I did not want some nasty mean boss forcing me to create artwork his way so I could make money to support myself. I would have begun to hate creating my artwork if that happened.
So I kept my day job in the bindery business, and work on my art in my spare time. After my two children started school I picked up the pace with my art again and with the encouragement of others I started selling prints. I do a couple of art shows in the summer, and I sell my prints online. It's still just a start, but maybe someday my artwork will be noticed by more people that truly appreciate the dedication to color and style I put into each and every piece I finish.
