All my life I've been an artist. Kicking and screaming, I have dragged myself through life denying this. Art is for the independently wealthy; for those who don’t have to struggle to get by. That, or it is nothing but struggle because you will never make a living doing it. I'm hoping these two statements are not true, but even so I don’t want to deny my first sentence any longer. I’ve spent so much of my time working for other people, other ideas. Meanwhile I told myself that my ideas were not worth it, that people wouldn’t value them. Still I labored on them, but quickly threw them away lest anyone notice. Even so, I think that Mike Rowe is right, “don’t follow your passion”. You might ask how I can say such a thing. I can say this because if you are an artist, you will do it anyway. The tragedy of my life is that I destroyed my work. That stops now. In this gallery you can see some of my work. It is not a collection of finished masterpieces. It is simply the product of my labor. So enjoy my work and if you can, send feedback. Also if you must, send money. 😊 One last thought. I think in life the only freedom we have is choosing who to serve. In the end, your quality of life will depend on that choice. Be brave.

Joe is is a mostly digital artist in a mostly digital world, working mostly from Northern Florida. He is almost an author and inventor. He has no beautiful wife and children whom he dotes on in his spare time, so he settles for spending time relaxing, creating and growing his beard. Someday he hopes to live in a wizard tower and tell stories to his great grand nieces and nephews.
