JUDITH LUNGEN'S DIGITAL PAINTINGS

Judith was born in Jersey City, raised in Sullivan County's
Mountaindale, New York. She immersed herself in the arts
from the tender age of eight - painting, music, ballet and
professional summer stock musical theatre in the round.

After her mandatory army service Judith set out on her
travels. She exhibited and sold her watercolors and
charcoals in Amsterdam, Paris, Montreal, London
and Brighton & Hove.

Judith's watercolors participated in:
*BRITISH ROYAL SOCIETY OF
WOMEN ARTISTS, THE MALL GALLERIES

She was invited to mount two solo exhibitions:
*CATSKILL'S ART SOCIETY,
SULLIVAN COUNTY MUSEUM (New York)
*WOMEN ART ALLIANCE (London)

Residing on her narrowboat in 'Little Venice' Judith
was one of the first four employees at
"Walker Books Children's Books Publishing
Company" founded by the late Sebastian Walker.

Judith credits award-winning Art Director, the late Amelia Edwards
as one of her greatest mentors in the art of graphic design.

In 2020, Judith delved into Digital Painting.
Between 2021-2022 her work participated in
60 international juried competitions, exhibitions and publications,
recipient of 39 awards and citations.
