The alternative comix movement and manga industry use a mono pallet which give even the most optimistically written stories a cozy level of grit that shines brightest through the pulp of the paper it's printed on. This bleak tone influenced my style more than even the stories themselves.

Depression, existentialism, and corruption can be seen throughout my illustrations and comics. To encapsulate these feelings I utilize mono digital ink and Ben-Day dots. Expressionist and surreal concepts are also used to deliver the most conceptually accurate images possible.
