Born in Louisville Kentucky,
Jeffrey received a degree in art with a concentration in illustration from one of, if not the best college of art in Kentucky, Murray State University.
Jeffrey showed promise and talent as early as age five and took on his first real commission at the age of twelve.
He went on to win contest and receive even more commissions as time went by and he continued to pursue his passion.
Jeffrey continued to receive honors and awards as a teen when he was cartoonist and artist for his high school newspaper and an often called upon as an illustrator for the local paper of his home town Campbellsville .
Jeffrey attended Campbellsville University, where he received a full scholarship in art, but after two years went on to Murray State where he felt more challenged to explore and produce his art.
Soon came awards in advertising, contest and the sell of much of his work.
His work includes pastels, watercolors, pen and ink, charcoal drawings, pencil renderings, oil paintings, acrylic paintings and mixed media.
As the road to making art is long Jeffrey became and still is a very prolific artist who loves and shares his passion of creating, sometimes as a teacher and at other times with fellow artist, musicians, writers, poets singers and anyone who has the passion, the desire to share the joy of "Celebrating Life thru Art!"
Jeffrey has always felt that to specialize in one medium would by default mean closing the door on others so he exploits every medium and any tool to execute and push his images, which are as varied as is the tools he uses.
