"Many of the images on view are based on "Ceramics From Islamic Lands", a Kuwait National Museum book. My love for Persian and mid-eastern ceramics comes from an Exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum on Syria from a few years ago as well as a trip I took with my husband to Iran, again a few years ago.
"I did these watercolor while 'sheltering in place' in March and April 2020. All the proceeds will go the victims of this horrific Coronovirus Pandemic at the Neighborhood Coalition for Shelter, NYC."
