I reside in Orange County, California. My mother purchased my first paint by number with oils as a child. She paid for my first oil painting classes when I was in 8th grade. My mother recognized my artistic talents and encouraged me to forge ahead.

It is tough raising four children by yourself. I helped make ends meet painting greeting cards during that time. It is hard to establish an art career at any age but especially later in life. This year I got a big break with a Laguna Beach Gallery and that got put on hold with Covid. I hope my gallery with ArtPal will fill in the rough patches with orders and referrals then I will be on the way to establish my career and stabilize my income with the help of my followers.

I have a Bachelors of Fine Art degree from Loma Linda University, and then I continued studies at Irvine Valley College, Cal State University Fullerton, and Southern California Colleges. My art pieces have been featured several times in the Orange County Register newspaper.

My subject matter on the antique windows are florals, birds, and bugs. I paint christian and messianic themes, on canvas, that tell a story. An oil painting I've completed is of Jerusalem. This painting combines an unusual combination, a still life with a landscape, overseeing the Wailing Wall. It portrays a crown of thorns with its budding flowers (Rose of Sharon the official flower of Israel), a tallet (prayer shawl), a menorah (candlesticks), and a rams horn. It is the official note card of the Jewish Voice International Ministries and the painting hangs in their visitors lounge in Arizona. I have available Giclee' gallery wrap prints, signed and numbered, in the original size of this Jerusalem painting, 24x18, ArtPal can do it in other sizes with no artist signature. Comfort Food is a painting of Bibles, coffee, and pecan pie pieces on serving plates-the theme is comfort! My Artist's print, signed and numbered, is in its original size 20x20 and ArtPal has permission to copy it in other sizes and on cups.

You will also see available on ArtPal other canvas oil originals, and watercolors of birds, local landscapes, seascapes, and figures that ArtPal will make into prints and cups. And an occasional horse, equine art, that I dearly love to paint since childhood. I have limited edition Giclee' prints of an original equine painting, "Roan Rolling in Sand," that was " juried in," and sold at the prestigious Orange County Fair Grounds, International Art Fair Show.

The Orange County Fair additionally asked me to display 5 of my oil paintings painted on antique windows. I have an unusual look and technique called "twin strokes" that I use on the windows. You can see demos of this on YouTube or go to my website and click on the YouTube button. The Orange County Register newspaper ran a feature story of me and that artwork.

I have shown at these venues and received several awards.
