Inherited Early Art

www.ArtPal.com/jbaughsr

I inherited this piece from my parents. It hung over the mantle for many many years. I sent it off to a curator to have it authenticated. They said it was an authentic work by Nathaniel Currier before he joined to become Currier & Ives. It is registered as it says on the piece in Nassau New York.
I have never seen the "Winter Scene" and consider it a rarity. The art dealer I sent it to for appraisal, who I will leave nameless, broke/destroyed the frame and sent it back like that when I didn't agree with the low ball price she was trying to get me to accept.
I had the piece reframed and sealed as it has developed some minor age spots.
I am asking $13,500.00 for this piece of art history. I will entertain any reasonable offer providing it is going to a good home. I've loved this picture all my life.
I also have a "Grandma Moses" original however from what I've seen, she did so many that they do not have a lot of value to them. Thank you for looking and any advice would be sincerely appreciated.
