I've been doing some form of art since I was five years old. Self taught artist, I learned the hard way, starting by drawing comic books I borrowed from other kids that lived around my neighborhood. It wasn't long before I realized that comics were not going to be enough, if I seen a new art style I had to try it. Many long days and nights I would just stare at others artwork and try an figure out how they did what they did, how I could master those styles and build on them, I became my own worst critic, yet to this day it still keeps me striving to be better.
I work in any medium from graphite to oils and have been known to mix any of these into the same piece of art if my supplies get low. I do whatever has to be done to complete whatever I'm working on at that moment, then I move on to the next project, the next step forward. I've tended to favor oils as of late, that may change in the future, especially if I get stumped on a project in another medium, I'll have to try and master that to. I know my art will never live up to the standards that I want it to be, but it's going to be fun trying to get there!
