A biologist with born and brought up in the interface of Nepalese and Bengali culture between the Terai plains and the mountains of Nepal. After doing integrated BS-MS from Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Kolkata, I have studied Liberal Arts in Ashoka University as Young India Fellow and then worked in United Nations Development Programme as a consultant for Biodiversity conservation in SECURE Himalaya project.

For the summers, I have worked in the labs of National Center for Biological Sciences (on flour beetles), Nature Conservation Foundation (on snow leopard), Free University of Berlin (mealworms) and University of Pittsburgh (HIV).

Presently, I have activated my DST INSPIRE Fellowship to do PhD in Wildlife Sciences and am working on Human elephant conflict in Northern Chhattisgarh.
