Baltimore based painter Jason Witte, is an award winning artist, and work is in many private collections throughout the country.

Born in a small rural town of Iowa, the rural landscapes with themes of isolation are his preferred ideal subject matter. He also paints directly from life
and knowledgeable in both acrylic and oil paint mediums.

Combining his love for the outdoors and painting, the artist often paints "plein air", a french word founded in the 19th-century style of painting outdoors.
Painting from life has provided Witte an appreciation of his surrounding environment. He strives to express beauty and poetry found in these subjects.
