www.ArtPal.com/itdowdyI have been an avid photographer for almost twenty years. Prior to that time I enjoyed a hobby of oil painting. My special interests lie in landscape, nature, wildlife, macro and abstract photography, with an eye to finding an unusual angle, perspective or rendering of an ordinary photograph.
I have had three images published in the WECT calendars, and also in the Brunswick Beacon calendar. I am a charter member of the Coastal Carolina Camera Club and have won numerous awards from that organization. I have received Honorable Mentions on three occasions from the Photographic Society of America. I was awarded Best of Show in the Brunswick County Parks and Recreation Contest. I have twice received first place honors in the Sunset at Sunset photography contest in addition to honorable mentions in that contest. My images have been published in Grand Strand Magazine and South Brunswick Magazine.
