Essentially from the first moment that it was made apparent to me that I possessed an
Artistic ability, to the present, my practice has been a slow evolvement and learning process. We learn from experience and apply such learned conclusions to move in a forward fashion. It is with sincere hope that we can come to trust and learn from these progressions. For some it is a road well marked and easily seen but for others it takes longer and with much more inspection and calculated risk.
I have been a practicing artist for most of my life and was able to distinguish myself amongst others, for this was where I excelled and received recognition. The first paint by numbers set that I received as a child, caused me to realize that my patience for painting inside the lines simply did not agree with my need to create outside the box. I gave up the numbers and began experimenting on blank cardboard, this inspired action landed me in my first art studio at the age of eight. My current artwork, a product of a long creative journey with many interruptions, has become my emotional and spiritual centre.
