PTH (Phyllis Trager Hyman) led a sheltered life whose boundaries she set. She knew that her artwork was worthy of an audience, but her paranoia in interacting with strangers made her too fearful to do so. She was an avid follower of the art world and was registered with NARSAD Artworks, an outlet of what is now the Brain and Behavior Research Foundation. A piece was published in the Journal of Psychosocial Nursing.
