Painted Tarantula is a favorite piece of mine, which I designed while looking for an overall design to express my personal collection of tarantula images. My collection of tarantulas are all vividly colored and being the indecisive person I am making a choice as to which piece I liked most became an overwhelming chore. I decided to omit the design of the tarantula entirely aside from his black shape and focus on the background where I could merge all the color into a fluidity of emotion. I love the brightest colors one can usually get away with and here I still tried to lean more towards the pastel side for a greater portion than I normally do.
