Hannah Malcolm is an Arkansas artist who uses her artistic talent to create vivid paintings by showing stark contrast between the lightest lights and the deepest darks in all her subjects-be they people, animals, flowers or landscapes. Her loose, idealistic way of painting is not meant to be perfect like a photograph but an interpretation of what she sees and how she views the world. Among her other talents she also paints with colored pencils, pen & ink, and (when she is not catching up on sleep!) she knits and crochets.
Hannah Malcolm was trained by Jo Claire Dodson and Sheila Parsons, also native artists of Arkansas.
