Gyslaine PACHET- MICHENEAU- FRANCE
Born in 1960 in a small village of Charente Maritime, I rather quickly was attracted by the scenery and local color that I wanted to transcribe the atmosphere, first drawing in ink and charcoal. These were my first steps in the arts.
Technical Training, I evolve within a Service Client, near Tours where I currently live.
In 1997, I joined the workshop of Anne Frigière in its mill Pernay (37) for my learning of painting and especially watercolor. I have also learned the oil painting, the three pencils, charcoal and acrylic that I could expose my first compositions in different regional exhibitions (Vouvray, Luynes, Azay le Rideau ..).
Involved in my painting and associative life, I during the 15 years of my career as a painter was a member of Who's Who International, the Performing Painters, Eagle Nice International ... .. I am always now involved in these associations in addition to The House of Artists and Art, Science Letter. Loving human contact and exchanges with the artists and the audience, I like to paint from life for Berkshires (Solidor in St Malo, Magne in the Poitevin Marsh, Loches ...).
In awe of the Impressionists, including Cézanne, Monnet, Manet, I like to go in different museums (Orsay, Atelier du midi ...), I try for 15 years to get close to their paintings and colors. I aspire to soak up the gentle water colors in my paintings, but also the keys and subjects of various landscapes and travel places that continually aspire me to continue to progress in my work. It is a need to escape but also a real pleasure.
I find inspiration in the landscapes of Touraine, Provence, my native Charente Maritime but also Venice and Burano.
I love to paint poppies, lavenders, bucolic landscapes or scenes of life, for which I enjoy rendering my palette offered by different techniques, materials and colors.
Professional painter, my efforts are regularly rewarded for my landscapes in oil and knife, my Marines and my life scenes have been exhibited in numerous exhibitions in France Artoulouse the Hivernales Montreuil..et in Galerie Parisienne but also abroad (Belgium, Italy, USA ...) and to Japan where I got many awards (including the Silver Medal of Art, Science and Letter for example). I also benefited since 2004 from a Drouot quotation.
My pleasure to be in direct contact with the public still makes me prefer to participate in craft markets (Christmas markets, festive pink king, sellout tours ...) and perform solo shows I realized with my son who I Ludovic shares the same passion for painting.
