Gabrielle Marie Henriette Juliette Verdin Wigler (1922-2011)

Gaby Wigler, a native of Liege, Belgium, attended the Académie Royale des Beaux-Arts de Liège, and studied at the Art Students League in New York City in the late 1940s. Mrs. Wigler was a professional free lance fashion artist for Macy's, Gimbel's in New York, and for Lit Brothers in Philadelphia in the 1950s and 60s.

A resident of Swarthmore, PA., she practiced her art in later years with her friends at the Wallingford Community Arts Center in Delaware County.. She was a talented and prolific artist who experimented in oil, acrylics, watercolor, pen & ink, charcoal, and pastels. Her family now offers some of her finest work for sale.

Dedicated to Art, she saw beauty in everything.
