My eagerness to do art, and my infatuation with with history started both with the tragedy of my father killing a man and going to jail when I was seven. Before my dad was subsequently convicted for man0-slaughter he bestowed upon me two books, one on art, and one on history. History and art became an extension of my father. I create narrative works that allow comments on history, mythology, religion, politics and society as a whole in the 2-d illusionary space of painting where comedy and tragedy collide. I cater to humor, theatre,my aesthetic, and the exploration of the human condition. I explore the good the bad and the ugly, as I continue to grapple with history through the creation of art.
