Born in Alberta, Canada.
Exhibitor in North Shore Chicago Art Fair circuit, 2000, 2001.
Winner of 2 awards in sculpture.
I have a background in music, playing in rock bands (one with Mike Reno of Loverboy) and years later earned my certification in studio audio production.
I've always been a creative person, drawing as a child (I won an award for a drawing of Daniel Boone when I was 8) and being a musician most of my life, writing songs and performing.
I started sculpting pick guards for guitars (gordophysio.wix.com/custompickguards), and now
paint in acrylics and draw in charcoal and colored pencil.
I always wanted to create images and products that related to music, especially rock, thus the pick guards.
With my paintings, I want people to be able to have images of their favourite musical artist in a style that is obviously not attempting to be realistic. Rather, the high contrast, colors and poses on stage reveal their emotion and character.
Looking through my site you will notice that I dabble in other subject matter as my interests are wide and varied. "Bored" has never been part of my vocabulary! When I'm not painting, I'm writing and recording my next CD!
I continue to create more in several categories, so check back often to see what the latest images are. Please let me know what types of images you would like to see in my style.
I take COMMISSIONS. I can paint or do a charcoal image of anyone you want, whether it's your favourite star, your pet, or you or your family.
