I was inspired to draw the ribcage because of the complex anatomy it possesses. The details I drew on the ribs represent the strength of its anatomy. It was a challenge figuring out how to place each rib in its correct place. The ribs encage by far the most important organ: the heart. Parallel to the real world it is us who encage our hearts from the hardships of reality.
