My name is Frank Seth and I'am an "undiscovered" American Watercolor Artist. I have been painting watercolors for over 55+ years. Originally from the Seattle area, I graduated from the Seattle Art Institute - which I later taught a class there. I have taught watercolors to various age groups over the years and now volunteer at various local Assisted Living Facilities to teach an 8 week watercolor class. I provide the paint and paper ~ they provide the students.
I was in the USAF during the 1960's and spent 35 1/2 months overseas during the VietNam conflict as an Air Force Air Police Canine Dog Handler.
I was married to a wonderful person for 33 years before she passed away 15 years ago. I have done many things in my lifetime to include putting out forest fires to checking cargo on super tankers. But all through my life I have painted. Mostly watercolors. A few acrylics here and there, but for the most part watercolors.
While stationed outside of the USA, I became very interested in how someone could take a brush stroke and with only a few strokes ~ convey to the person looking at the painting ~ there was a bird, a branch and perhaps even a flower. I'm for the most part a landscape impression painter. Love the outdoors and the vibrant colors that come with it.
Thank you for reading this and I hope you enjoy my art collection.
