Hi, i am a mother of 3 who has dedicated her life to my children. I studied Contemporary Crafts in Manchester, England and specialized in ceramics. I then went on to do a Post Graduate course in education choosing Art and Design for secondary level. I enjoyed my years of study very much and although I have been a busy mother for many years, I have always used my art knowledge with my own children or by doing courses and private lessons. I was bought up in Mexico and continue to live there enjoying the vibrant culture and visual wonders of each different place I visit over the years.
As my flock grows up and I have more time, i have managed to pick up my watercolors and represent different moments in my life, either at home in my rustic house in a Oaxaca village or at my various camping holidays around the country.
I find painting relaxing and have chosen watercolors for it's practicality and lightness which I found appropriate for my subject matter. Over the years I have experimented with surrealist imagery by layering significant Mexican symbols placed in still lives with landscape.
