Description

Hi. I am Laura Orsini, Queen of Positivity. I am a collage artist and manage of the FairyPositive.com website. My goal is to use art to give people a positive space and perspective from which to view the world - we are an antidote to the worries of the world. I create mostly female characters, but am willing to tackle almost any scene via collage. Custom orders happily accepted! My work is mostly collage made from all types of paper: books, music paper, magazines, old calendars, catalogues, menus, doilies. My favorite things to tear up are children's books because they are so colorful and richly textured. I occasionally incorporate other media like ribbons, thread, and buttons. I sometimes include original painting or drawings, but as those are not really my strengths, these additions are sporadic.
