Born and raised in New York City, I have lived in seven states and traveled extensively. North Carolina became home in 1972 where my husband and I raised our children.
I have a Degree in Graphic Design a run an advertising agency for ten years. Upon retiring I went back to my paints and brushes once more, giving me an outlet for the many more years of creative thinking still unexplored. Brush-up classes at the local community college shortly lead to becoming an instructor for mixed media adult classes.
My artwork hangs in homes and offices in several states along the eastern seaboard, California, London England and Naples Italy.
My original art is a culmination of my life's experience. Many things in my life have lead me to the versatility shown in my artwork while color shows personality and love for life. I find fun and excitement in creating works of art and having others appreciate what I have created.
When I put brush to canvas I picture something in my mind, how or what would it look like in the
colors I love. Painting an image that has struck me becomes a passion. Often I feel too emotionally attached to a piece of my work and I find it hard to let go of it. If I can convey the passion I feel through my work to just one other person… I can say I have accomplished much.
