Everett Spruill (1954 - ) Everett exposure to museums and classical music at an early age would prove to have a great influence on his artistic development. A self-taught artist, Spruill graduated in 1976 from Berea College in Kentucky where he studied Business Management. Everett works in a variety of mediums including, photography and printmaking. His early collages chronicle the uniquely American art form of Jazz and Blues. Everetts collages and mixed media works are created with non-traditional materials and objects employed in innovative combinations. Spruill is well known for his "Freedom of Speech Series" 2014 and two designs for Disney 1997 and 98. . Spruill is both a painter and graphic designer and the "Tribal Rhythms" Series is a combination of both. . Everett currently conducts art workshops for central Florida youth through his non-profit foundation.
