Eric Herve

Éric Hervé is a French double bass player. He studied double bass with Philippe Juncker, Jean Marc Rollez, Barre Phillips, Jean-François Jenny-Clark. He has performed in France and abroad with the following orchestras: Orchester National du Capitole de Toulouse, Orchester National Bordeaux Aquitaine, Les Symphonistes d'Aquitaine, Orchester symphonique d'Europe, Orchester National de Montpellier, Orchester de Pau Pays de Béarn, Chamber orchestra of the Gironde, Chamber orchestra of Ariège, Symphony orchestra of Castilla and Symphony Orchestra of Madrid (Spain).

Éric Hervé appears regularly as a soloist in numerous chamber music ensembles. Alongside classical music, he also performs in improvised music, world music and song (with the artists François Jeanneau, Martial Solal, Shyamal Maitra, Jean-Marie Machado, Michel Gentils Trio, Ali Aloui, Laurent Marc, Philippe Léogé, Pierre Abbo, Bia Krueger, Luc Romann, Serge Guirao, Désireless, Lluís Llach, Luis Rigou, Vicente Pradal.
