I have been making things my entire life, but over the last few years I have spent a significant amount of time creating artwork. So much time in fact, that I have put it above cleaning my home or working a job. Therefore, it suddenly dawned on me, that creating and selling art SHOULD be my job, and I was foolish to ever attempt anything else. All throughout high school I intended to attend an art college after I graduated, but at the last minute I changed my mind and followed a boy to a more traditional university. It really didn't go so well. Twenty-five years later and here I am, without that boy or a college degree, but with a whole lot of art to sell.
