Elise Weber

Elise Weber

Born in New Hyde Park, NY
Lives & works in Seaford, NY

Weber is an avid landscape painter, working primarily in oil on canvas. She is inspired by the dynamism found around her multifaceted state of residence, NY: whether it be in the flat beaches of Long Island, the high and rocky terrain of the Adirondacks, or the concrete jungle of Manhattan, Weber repeatedly finds an intense energy between the forces of nature and the human existence.
Weber enjoys drawing and painting small studies en plein air in order to best connect with her landscape references, as well as to explore and meditate in fresh air.
When not working outside, Weber can be found in her senior studio space located at Adelphi University.
