Generally I use oil technique, very versatile and flexible. I focus on the treatments and the modeling –brush work-, use the color as a symbolic factor that helps to build a specific narrative. The same goes to the use of light. I use it to compose and to reinforce its symbolism.
I like to think of paintings as objects that can be discovered while we coexist with them, along the days or years. That have the possibility of variation and show different aspects, depending on the spectator humor. To be what they are, but also, to show more or different things when light changes, when the spectator comes close and sees carefully. The color and its composition as an active at the distance, and forms activate in the nearby. I think paintings like this are richer objects in their pictorial content.
