Art has always been part of my life, a thread that has run throughout the years. It was my profession for many years, as I was a medical illustrator, specializing in orthopedics. Pen and ink, colored pencil, and watercolor were the tools of that trade. Watercolors were a early love of mine, and part of my illustrator's arsenal. As I retired from the illustration world, watercolors stepped to the forefront once again. Watercolor was my first favorite medium and I have rejoiced in exploring it anew.

I enjoy painting old cars, in particular. They have personality to share, and stories to suggest. Many other things catch my eye, and, when they do, I put them to paper. Animals, florals, landscapes, portraits, I enjoy them all - it is more about how light lays on a subject than the subject itself for me. Each painting tells a story, both to me, and to the viewer. Sometimes, those are the same, and sometimes, they are delightfully different.

I hope you enjoy seeing my art as much as I have enjoyed making it.

In the past, people have inquired how to purchase my art. This site allows for that, in an easy one-stop-shop sort of way.

If you see something you like, click on the image, and you will see the options. I selected this site as the prices were reasonable, and you can order the entire shebang from them - print, mat, and frame, if you wish, in a size of your choice.
