Don Sylvester paints part time and works in Houston, Texas. He has painted lots of subjects as things changed through his life. He drew waiters and chefs when he moved to Houston, a city renown for eating out with over 15,000 restaurants. He painted international cities after traveling outside the country several times many years ago. He painted several old Victorian style houses from downtown New Orleans after his daughter suggested it having lived there. When finished with those paintings, she then suggested adding cats outside those houses to add some interest. And lastly, having spent 32 years in Texas, Don could not pass up the chance to paint cowboys, horses and various western scenes. He hopes you enjoy them.
