10 years ago, my partner and I left the Washington, DC metro area for life in the eternal summer of South Florida. I left my busy and hectic IT career behind and focused on more esoteric things. My love of gardening flourished and I soon had a jungle growing in our back yard. I loved it and began taking pictures to share on social media with my friends. This led to a love of photography. I studied and replaced my cameras until I was using a pretty sophisticated DSLR camera. My background in computer science and mathematics led to a love for manipulating these photographs into beautiful and original works of art. Growing and nurturing flowers gives me a sense of calm and fulfillment in a world that is sometimes chaotic. In my digital artwork, I try to find a way to convey that sense to the observer in a timeless image. I hope to find an audience for such work and I think it exists.
