Photo artistry is the giddy playground of the imagination. And what a joy it has been for me to discover this playground in the aftermath of a grown-up career.
From the ocean and woodlands of my native Maine to the sensuous surroundings of my home in Atlanta, Georgia, the inspirations have been endless. The works I create from photos, textures, papers and digital elements range in style from traditional and classical to folk, fantasy, urban, edgy and the macabre.
Several times I have had the honor of being featured in the magazine, Living the Photo Artistic Life (http://www.quillandcamera.com/magazine/), edited by the internationally acclaimed Photoshop instructor, Sebastian Michaels, and on his blog http://www.quillandcamera.com/. I am grateful to him for teaching me much of what I know about navigating around this playground and for his generous recognition of my work.
