After retiring from my "nine to five" job in recent times, I decided to embark on a new journey.
I have always had an interest in both practical art and the history of western art, studying the techniques of some of the Old Masters.
My passion is particularly focused on the human figure as a challenging and complex subject.
Artist such as Degas, Ingres and Walter Sickert are a source of inspiration. The quiet and melancholy mood of Edward Hopper is also an important influence.
