I am an artist and illustrator working in the UK.
After gaining a Master of Art degree at the Royal College of Art, London,
I started work as a freelance illustrator. Clients included, The Sunday Times Magazine, Fortune Magazine, the BBC, various leading ad. agencies and publishers. I also taught part-time at Cambridge School of Art and Wimbledon School of Art.
I began drawing children's picture books in 1976. I have illustrated over sixty titles for a variety of publishers, including Macmillan, Ladybird and Usborne Publishing. These cover a wide variety of subjects including a best selling Children's Encyclopedia, 'See inside' flap books, atlases and books about Spies and Detectives. My books have been translated into many languages worldwide.
At present, I am exploring my fascination for old industrial machinery. My abstract paintings reflect how the passage of time can be transformative and lead to their ultimate decay.
