Hello. I am a self taught artist and label my work as outsider art as I have received no training and view my work as naive and art brut in style. I don’t like to be boxed in to a style and go wherever my creative impulse takes me. I hope you are interested in my work and I will hopefully continue until I can’t hold a brush or a pencil.
I started out as a painter and decorator like so many before me but I have done drawings and paintings from childhood.
I now live in rural Perthshire but grew up in Wester Hailes, a large concrete jungle of a housing estate in Edinburgh, a city I love.
