The Colors of Emotion
www.ArtPal.com/ckelleylexustoyoI was born in New England and as a child was fascinated with the colors of fall. The majestic beauty of fall made me realize that color had a direct influence to the human mood. Spectacular yellows, golds and scarlet reds dancing in the trees. It was then,at a very young age that I was drawn to all aspects of color. As I grew and learned more , I found a great respect for the masters and without formal training ,studied the history of art. The more I learned the greater my desire to paint. I wanted to bring my audience a thought or memory that would bring a personal comfort to them. When you look into a piece of art that I have composed , I hope that your imagination will take you to that emotion that brings you comfort, produced by color and composition. Each piece that I compose carries a story which is relevant to the painting. I invite the viewer to read the narrative and then explore the painting. Some of my work will hopefully bring you to a place where your imagination and emotion meet.
Thank you very much for your interest,
Respectfully , Charles J Kelley
