Agostino Cancogni was born in Forte dei Marmi (Lucca - Italy) on November 26th 1950.
He obtains a Bachelor in Art and Sculpture at the Art Academy in Carrara (Italy) where perfects various techniques, but later the Artist himself puts his talent and passion in classical Art.
His artworks are mostly inspirated by the sea and the nature, especially northern Tuscany landscapes.
Maestro Cancogni won many awards during his career, and his oeuvres are exhibited in different galleries around the world (Italy - Arabia - Great Britain - Switzerland - Germany - USA and China).
