The Sarah Dodson, "First Lone Star Flag of Texas" titled; "Honor"

Sarah Dodson was married to Archelaus Bynum Dodson who was a First Lieutenant of Texas Volunteer Militia that had formed to resist Mexico.

Following the battle of the Alamo several of Santa Ana's commanders reported that this particular flag was one of many flown during the 13-day siege of the Alamo.

I personally felt honored and proud to construct and sculpt such a flag of Texas Historical importance as well as United States History as well.

I have constructed and sculpted this flag on a 3/4" piece of heavy particle board and the flag measures 46" X 28" and is a very large flag and is ready to be mounted on a wall.

This flag is 3-dimensional as the white is higher than the red and the red and the blue is higher than the white. The star itself is nearly 8 inches across.
