The photographs in this gallery are of my own wheel thrown clay.
Through the evolution of creating a piece of pottery, there are so many times they are uniquely lovely and it is not always at completition.

When the red clay is newly trimmed and the sun is hitting it just right it just fairly glows. The white clay gives my underglaze drawings a third dimension as I work on the clay form.

My love of clay goes from start to finish. It's feel, it's tone, it's texture. Clay has given me so much and I hope you can get that feel from my photographs.
