Art From The Heart By Mary Lue comes in many forms. What is depicted in this photograph is one of my Spirit Pots. The Raku process was used to give the clay its smokey black color and the white glaze its crackle. The piece of pottery itself has a feeling of peace and serenity when you hold it. You somehow don't feel alone when it is in your hands. It was created with all the love I could give it as its maker. The shelf sits in front of my red rock studio and the backdrop for the pottery is well suited. It is my hope that this photograph brings you endless comfort.
