This cute little Chihuahua Jar was my very first step into a new hobby of painting glass jars and canisters.
The jar itself was one that I purchased at a yard sale and looks to be vintage. The wood lid is in very good shape but does show the characteristic signs of age. The jar is a square shape with rounded corners and holds approximately 4 cups.
The painting is done with oil paints that have been coated with a layer of High Gloss Clear Varnish.
It is decorated with a double ribbon consisting of a sheer black ribbon and a black ribbon of white paw prints.
